Project Description:

Design and build a new prison located in Kluang to replace an existing prison in Johor Bharu. The development covered an area of 120 acres of hilly and undulating ground. The Earthworks include surface clearing, removal of top soil, a balance cut and fill, slope cutting and protection, berm drains, retaining walls and guniting of slopes. A complete infrastructure is provided. The buildings, which, form major component of the project comprise of prison blocks, prison support blocks, staff quarters and staff/public facilities.

Physical and electronic security system is the most important aspect of the project incorporating the latest prison security system. Among the security features are: r.c. security  wall, anti climb fence, grills, electric internal fence intruder detection system, lnfra red detecfion system, air locks, walk through metal detection system and security lighting. The mechanical & electrical services include air conditioning, fire fighting system, electrical, telephone, MATV, stanby generator, UPS system, sanitary and plumbing system, street lighting

Scope Of Service:

Project management services including preparation of pre bid document, evaluation of technical and financial submission by contractor, assisting client during price negotiation, preparation of contract document, design audit, surveillance check on consultant during construction and post contract services.
