Masa Builder Sdn Bhd (MBSB) is committed to achieving Quality Excellence in all aspects of its business process and at all levels of operation.
MBSB believes Quality Excellence shall spearhead the Company to achieve its Corporate Vision:

Quality Excellence shall form the corporate culture and shall be cultivated through strategies outlined to achieve the following Quality Policy:

Maintain and enhance MBSB's reputation as an organization that provides quality construction and its related services that consistently meets and exceeds internal and external client's requirements

Ensure full compliance on public interest, environmental preservation, natural resource conservation and all regulatory bodies pertaining to our construction works.

It is MBSB's goal to extend the awareness, acceptance and implementation of the quality system to all our sub-contractors, consultant and suppliers.

Each personnel is required to actively promote and implement this policy in all area of activity for which they are responsible.

Safety and Health Policy Statement

Masa Builder Sdn Bhd (MBSB) has a responsibility and commitment to assure that all the employees work in a safe and healthy environment. It is, therefore our duty to take every reasonable step as far as practicable to comply with all applicable safety and health laws and regulations to prevent job related injuries and illness.

It is our policy to:

1) 

Provide and maintain a safe and healthy working environment for all of our employees and general
public.

2) 

Develop and enforce the use of safe working practices and comply with all safety regulations.

3) 

Provide necessary information, instruction and training to all employees.

Every employee plays an important part in our Safety and Health Programme in achieving the above objectives. Therefore, it is the duty of each level of employees to:

Co-operate with Management on the discharge of any duty imposed by legislators relating to Safety
and Health.

Comply with any instruction or measure in Occupational Safety and Health instituted by the Management.

It is the intent of the company to enforce strict compliance with all established safety and health standards for everyone associated with this Project and to actively pursue all avenues available to make it an "ACCIDENT FREE" Project.

Environment Management Programme
The primary objectives of the EMCP are as follows:
* To ensure that MBSB and its subcontractor comply with the environmental requirements of the Client and the DOE as spelt out in the EIA approval conditions and other document;
* To establish a documented Environmental Management System (EMS) for MBSB to effectively mitigate against potential environmental impacts during the construction phase;
* To provide the means to ascertain the effectiveness of environmental protection/conservation measures identified in the EIA study which will form the basis for additional/modified provisions to meet stipulated limits where these are expected; and
* To ensure that the works carried out comply with legislative requirements stipulated by other agencies/department and in meeting the overall objectives of the projects.
The EMCP provides control measures for the following environmental threat:
* Erosion and sediment * Solid waste (non-scheduled)
* Water pollution * Scheduled waste
* Air pollution * Traffic and transportation
* Noise and vibration * Social control
Audit and inspection programme shall be developed in order to assess the effectiveness of the EMCP. The environmental audit will encompass the following activities:

*

Inspections of construction activities on site to ensure mitigation measures are properly and effectively implemented;

*

Review the adequacy of the implemented mitigation measures. Additional mitigation/remedial measures, changes in working practices etc. will be recommended as necessary (in the case of non-compliance with environmental performance limits or identification of adverse impacts) to ensure that the project environmental objectives are achieved;

*

Inspections and monitoring of specific activities, such as noise generated from "noisy" equipment or movement of trucks;

*

Assessment of the effectiveness of the environmental problems and impacts

*

Assessment of the effectiveness of the environmental management system, practices and procedures;

*

Identification and anticipation of any environmental problems and impacts that may be encountered in the near future, and determination of appropriate solutions; and

*

Investigation of any complaints from residents/sensitive receivers/neighbouring installations and the actions taken when complaints are received.
